About Us

There's a lot happening at First Baptist Church of Mt. Morris! The Kingdom-driven ministry covers members from all walks of life. As a ministry under the dynamic call and leadership of Senior Pastor Kevin Dixson, We are a multi-racial, multi-generational, family oriented church. Offering Ministry for people of all ages and who are in different seasons of life.

At the core of our ministry are Our Statements, Mission and Vision, which undergird the call of outreach carried out through the heart of Pastor Kevin and the members of The First Baptist Church.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

· We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God.

· We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and on the third morning He rose for our Justification.

· According to scripture, accepting Christ as your Savior is the only way to heaven.

EVANGELISM is our number one goal and will always be the salvation of the lost. While building relationship with the unsaved and the unchurched, and people who want a fresh start from the mistakes they have made in their past, while continuously reaching people from other races, cultures and socio-economic classes. We will accomplish it all through reachout, HUMILITY and LOVE staying humble and maintaining the spirit of love and realness that we’ve had since our inception, at all times giving all credit, glory and honor to God for our succes

Youth - 7th Grade 4pm - 5pm

8th - 12th Grades 5pm - 6:30pm

Friday

Twilight Senior Ministry meet with Pastor Kevin the first Friday of the month at 10:00 am.

Saturday

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast is the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 am.

Sunday

Bible Study with Bro. Judd Judkins and Sis. Pat Hill at 9:00 am.
